Education is the key to positive change that remains. We educate and equip Ghanaians with the tools necessary to establish and maintain vocations that will utilize their potential and enable them to provide for themselves and their families. “Give a man a fish and you feed him for a day. Teach a man to fish and you feed him for a lifetime.” – Chinese proverb   We subsidize school fees and provide books for schools, fund entrepreneurial endeavors and fund vocational training.

THE ACHIMOTA SCHOOL

The Achimota elementary school doesn’t have a library, so we are partnering with them to create one. We have sent barrels of books, containing the classics like Dick and Jane, Tom Sawyer and The Taming of the Shrew all donated by the Moorestown library.

SUBSIDIZING SCHOOL FEES

In Ghana, in addition to the standard uniform and registration fees, once a student has finished their coursework and received their grades, they must pay for the grades to be released, so they can go to the next grade level. Eric is one of the many youth and young adults that we help by subsidizing their school fees. We have helped him through middle school, he is in secondary school and, ultimately, we hope to get him into college.
